Ground Package Service (FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS)

Shipping is FREE on any non-motor freight orders greater than $250 within the US-48 states. Some products do not qualify (usually for weight or package size). Any product excluded from this offer will have this noted in their item description.

Some items which show either a "Flat Shipping Charge" or "Not Eligible for Free Shipping Offer" are not eligible for our Free Shipping - Reduced Shipping offers.

Alleyway's/Apartments/Islands/Harbors/Mountains, Military bases, Secure areas, etc. may incur an additional fee for special delivery circumstances.

The Garage Store stocks merchandise and drop-ships merchandise directly from our Vendor/Manufacturer partners.  Items shipped from our stock will be shipped USPS Priority Mail, FedEx Ground/Home Delivery.  If you need to have your order delivered via another carrier, we will try to accommodate your request.  We have daily pick-up with USPS and FedEx.

Items we drop-ship to you will use a carrier the Vendor/Manufacturer has their primary shipping relationship with.  We will provide tracking information on any drop ship orders as soon as possible.


Product Damage in Shipment - Ground (FedEx, UPS, USPS)

Always examine your shipment upon delivery when it arrives to check for any damage or missing items.  All shipments are shipped fully Insured to protect against damage or loss in transit.    When receiving your order via UPS/FedEx notify the driver immediately if possible, or if a problem is found after delivery, contact UPS/FedEx and notify them of the damaged items.  DO NOT start a damage claim with them, only notify them of the damaged shipment.  Please notify The Garage Store so we can start the damage claim and get replacement items on the way to you. 

Please retain the original shipping cartons for UPS/FedEx in the event they wish to inspect/pickup the damaged item.  Please send an email to
Orders@MyGarageStore.com with a general picture(s) of the damaged item (close-ups are generally not needed), preferably a picture of the shipping carton also and any additional information

If you want your order shipped with a "Signature Required" for delivery, please notify us as soon as possible.  By default, all ground shipments are delivered no signature required.

 

Motor Freight Shipping(FedEx Freight, Roadway, Old Dominion,etc.)

 

Large/Heavy items will require shipment via Motor Freight.  We will always contact you with a Motor Freight shipping quote in advance of processing your order, unless the item has a stated "Flat Rate" ship rate stated in the Item Description.

On average,  these charges range from $75 - $250, FREE on some of our items where stated.  The cheapest method is for delivery to a local Freight Terminal generally within 10-40 miles of your location,  where you would pickup the merchandise directly from the carrier.  Deliveries can also be done directly to your business or residence.   Deliveries to a commercial delivery address (not a home office) are also less expensive than delivery to a residential address. 

Motor Freight carriers will require someone to be available to receive/help unload, inspect and sign for all deliveries.  They will not drop-off items unattended as Ground shipments are typically done.  If you are unable to assist with the unloading process, we can schedule to have lift-gate service on delivery where they will lower it to the ground and generally move it to your garage, not inside.  The fee for Lift Gate service varies by carrier but is generally $50-$85.  Inside delivery is generally a $50-$75 fee.  Please let us know if you will need any of these special services. 

Deliveries shipped via Motor Freight will require access to your home via standard streets and standard business hours.   Alleyway's/Apartments/Islands/Harbors/Mountaintops,etc. may incur an additional fee for special delivery circumstances.  Most Motor Freight carriers do not offer weekend delivery services.


Product Damage in Shipment - Motor Freight

When receiving your order from a Motor Freight carrier, please inspect your items BEFORE signing off on the Bill of Lading.  Once you have signed the Bill of Lading, you have told the Motor Freight carrier you are accepting the items in the condition delivered.  Filing a successful Damage Claim after having  signed off on the Bill of Lading citing no issues at delivery time, is extremely difficult.  Filing Damage Claims when the damage is noted on both copies of the Bill of Lading (yours and the Driver's copy with the Driver's Signature on each) at delivery are always successful.  The Garage Store will assist in filing your Damage Claim in either case.
