Security

Maintaining a safe and secure environment is important for us to protect our data as well as any data that you maintain on our website.  Any payment data transmitted or carried between your computer and our site is encrypted using the latest Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption from Thawte to insure your information is not intercepted by another party. Our store is hosted in a Tier 1 Data Center to insure an available and secure environment to conduct our business transactions. We maintain minimal name/email address information as part of our “My Account” service on an ongoing basis, and maintain credit card data on our servers only for a maximum of 30 days. This allows us to assist you with a speedy checkout if you're a regular shopper with us, but also keeps the amount of credit card data to a minimum as it is purged on a daily basis. While there are exceptions to every rule, the technology used today for our store and most advanced ecommerce sites, provide better security for your credit card data than you giving your credit card to the wait person at your local restaurant when the credit card is out of your sight.

In the event your credit card data is compromised and it is used fraudulently, by Federal Law, your liability, regardless of the amount fraudulently charged, is only $50. In the event you lose your credit card or suspect someone is using your information fraudulently, contact your card's issuing bank immediately.

Via our Website

The Garage Store is built using leading edge technology which allows us to accurately record and process your order, while providing a safe and secure method to process payments. When you submit your order to us, you will receive and email confirming your order and pricing. If you have ordered items that require a separate shipping charge, special handling or installation services for example. We'll contact you generally within a few hours of your order to confirm those items and any additional pricing. Please note we do not charge your credit card until the items have shipped.

Via E-mail

If you prefer to send us your order request by separate email, please send your request to Orders@MyGarageStore.com   PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE ANY CREDIT CARD information as part of your email. Please include your phone number and we'll gladly call you back to confirm your payment method. Our valid payment options are detailed below.

Via Gift Certificate

On the The Garage Store Home Page, you'll find a convenient link to our Gift Certificate section. Here you can purchase a gift certificate for your special person and allow them to choose the gift of their choice. We have some common amounts listed, if they don't match the amount you're looking to purchase, please call us at 800-411-1552 and select our Customer Service extension and we'll be happy to accommodate your request. We will then mail a nice Gift Certificate to you via 2-day Fed Ex.

Via Mail

If you prefer to order by mail, please complete your order request on our website and select the “Fax/Mail” option when payment  method is requested. Complete the order process where you will be prompted at the end to print the order form for later submission to us. You can then drop it in the mail to us at: The Garage Store LLC 3001 Parkhaven Dr.  Flower Mound , TX 75022 . Please be sure your name, address and contact phone number are included for us to call you back with your order confirmation and determine method of payment. Our valid payment options are detailed below. Please do not include cash with your order.

Via Fax

If you prefer to order via Fax, please complete your order on our website and select the “Fax/Mail” option when payment method is requested. Complete the order process where you will be prompted at the end to print the order form for later submission to us. Please then fax your order request to: 972-692-6742. Please be sure to include your name, address and contact phone number for us to call you back with your order confirmation and determine method of payment. Our valid payment options are detailed below.

Credit/Debit Cards

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit and debit cards. Please note we do not charge your card until your items have been shipped. Please also note we can only ship to the same address as the Credit Card is billed to. If you need to ship to a different address than the billing address, please complete your order and then give us a call at 800-411-1552 and select the extension for Customer Service. Please have the telephone number for your Credit Card issuer available (typically on the back of your card), as we'll also need to get their approval to ship to a different address. We apologize for this additional step, however it is for our mutual protection to safeguard against Credit Card fraud.

C.O.D Orders

We are enabled to accept C.O.D orders for an additional minimum charge of $10 per box order. We will contact you with a final fee in the event it exceeds the $10 minimum. Please call us at 800-411-1552 and select the extension for Customer Service for any questions on C.O.D.

Money Order

We accept Money Orders mailed in advance of shipment, as method of payment for your order. We would like to recommend the use of US Postal Service Money Orders which are available at any US Post Office location.

Checks

We will accept Personal and/or Bank Checks, as well as eChecks drawn on any US bank for payment, mailed in advance of your order shipping. We reserve the right to hold your shipment for up to 7 business days after receipt of your check to allow the payment to clear your bank or financial institution.

PayPal

We accept payment for your order via PayPal. Our website is built to accept PayPal as part of the Checkout process.

Shipping Locations

We're currently only shipping to destinations in the Continental 48 states, Alaska and Hawaii . If you have a need to ship elsewhere, please give us a call 800-411-1552 or email us at Sales@MyGarageStore.com

Sales Tax
All shipments within the State of Texas will be charged the appropriate sales tax.

Errors and Photography

Any errors/problems/shortages identified with your order need to be identified and communicated back to us within 5 business days of delivery. 

We make the very best efforts possible to insure our Internet Store is 100% accurate in every way. However, there will be times when we make an error. In the case where we have made a significant error in regards to pricing, item descriptions or inaccurate product photography, you will be given the option to your return your product for a 100% refund of the purchase price (including shipping). In the case where there is a simple misunderstanding of a product, it's representation, use or features, we reserve the right to evaluate your claim based on reasonable criteria to determine how to best resolve your request. In any case where there is a discrepancy between a product picture and it's associated description, the description will take precedence over the product picture. Our goal is to have you 100% completely satisfied with your purchases. In the event there is a pricing error on our site and your credit card has not been billed, we will notify you of the error before shipping your order and reconfirm your order and pricing.

Order Returns

We'll gladly accept your return of an item given the following policy:

Send an email to Returns@MyGarageStore.com within (21) days of receipt of your item. Any requests received outside this window will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

We'll acknowledge receipt of your request and provide a Return Authorization number and additional instruction on how to return your item. No returns will be accepted without a Return Authorization number on the package.

All returns will be credited at the original item sale amount less a 15% restocking fee.  Shipping charges are not refundable.  If the return is due to an error on our part, we'll refund 100% of the sales price and shipping costs. Any shipping costs paid by The Garage Store on the returned items will also be deducted from the overall credit.

The items being returned must:

be in their original packaging.

have all original factory documentation, parts, hardware, etc. enclosed.

not be used, installed, altered or disassembled in any manner.

not be damaged due to incorrect use or installation.

be received in the same minimum order quantity as shipped. If you order (1) of something which contains a quantity of (6) (hooks for example), we cannot accept a partial return.

Please ship the item to us, shipping pre-paid and insured. We will not be responsible for packages returned to us, that are lost and were not shipped insured.

Once your item is received, it will be inspected to ensure it meets the above criteria. When complete (typically within 48 hours), we will process your refund per the same payment method your order was processed with. If your item does not meet meet the above criteria, we'll notify you immediately of this issue and begin to work on a mutually acceptable resolution.

If you are requesting a return due to damage in shipment, please immediately contact the shipping company to submit a claim, then contact us via email Service@MyGarageStore.com or telephone to discuss the situation.  Shipment damage claims must be filed with the shipping company.  We will work with you to help address the situation and provide whatever assistance we can.  The Garage Store cannot be held responsible for shipment damage.

If you are requesting an exchange due to some type product manufacturing defect, and would like a replacement sent out, please follow the return procedure outlined above. We will also submit an “authorization” transaction against your credit card and ship another item out to you right away. The “authorization” is not a charge, it's only an approval the credit card company gives us to submit an actual charge at a later date. This charge will be submitted in the event we do not receive your original item within (14) days of our shipping the replacement item to you.

We reserve the right to deny any request to return custom or special orders which were personalized, customized, special build or assembled outside of our normal product catalog. These will be addressed on a case by case basis.

Order Cancellation

In the event you want to cancel any part of your order, or the entire order, please notify us ASAP by either calling 800-411-1552 or email Service@MyGarageStore.com immediately. For any item that has not been shipped from us or has not shipped from the manufacturer, we will cancel your item/order as requested. In the event part or all of your order has shipped, please follow our Return procedure outlined above.
